En el marco del hinduismo, el término sánscrito shaktí designa a la energía o potencia activa de un deva (dios masculino), personificada como su esposa.
En su origen, toda divinidad femenina del hinduismo ha sido llamada Devī y ha sido asociada con la fertilidad, luego cada devī y su potencia se ha entendido como shaktí. De este modo cada shaktí es entendida como un aspecto de la Gran Diosa (Durgā o Kali). Se supone entonces que cada shaktí en cuanto deví (diosa), es complementaria a un deva (más aún, se supone que es la energía de cada deva).

SHAKTI Noise Reduction Technology (NRT) absorbs and dissipates Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
