The crossover is a "cascaded" 3.5 way topology with Linkwitz Riley 2nd order acoustic slopes between the woofers and midrange at 850 Hz, and 4th order slopes between the midrange and tweeter at 4 kHz. It is designed to make use of the drivers in their optimum range with good integration between the drivers. The crossover design consists of 17 components per channel. The response curve is smooth and the sound is very low distortion.
